The Mitsubishi Motors Pajero Challenge in 2017 will be run over 3 sections.
Timing – Challenge briefing 8:00am 25 March 2017. Expected finish 3:00am 26 March 2017.
Presentations – Sunday 11:00am.
Meals provided – Saturday dinner. Sunday breakfast.

Licence Details: It is mandatory that the driver and navigator show their current valid drivers licence to the officials at scrutineering prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in the entry not being able to start the event.
Equipment: Each vehicle will be inspected prior to the event and there will be a check to see that each car has a snatch strap, extension strap, at least two heavy duty rated shackles, a shovel, an axe, a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. Failure to have these on board and properly secured will result in the entry vehicle not being able to start.
GPS equipment will be required for navigation in this event.
It is strongly recommended that a compass (separate to any GPS) be included. Maps will be supplied.
A maximum of 50 vehicles will be allowed and entries will be accepted by the following method:
10 places will be reserved for Pajero 4WD Club members.
Complete application details will be emailed to you upon receiving your request to enter. A $50.00 (non refundable) deposit/entry fee will be required. Full payment must be paid prior to Feb 28th, 2017
Any entrant who withdraws from the event less than two weeks before the commencement of the event 26th March 2017, will result in no fee being refunded. Any entrant who withdraws more than two weeks before the commencement of the event will be entitled to a 50% refund.
Note: Only the Nominated Driver and Navigator will receive a trophy for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
FULL 3 section event costs:
$ 250.00 per vehicle for Pajero Club Members
$ 280.00 per vehicle for non Pajero Club Members

Challenge Light Costs (Sections 1 & 2 only):
$ 175.00 per vehicle for Pajero Club Members
$ 200.00 per vehicle for non Pajero Club Members

Competitors please note:
- We will observe and maintain the 4WD Association code of ethics during this event.
- We will drive safely at all times during this event and abide by the event and DELWP conditions imposed.
- We accept that our participation in all aspects of this event, is entirely at our own risk and we release the Pajero 4WD Club of Victoria Inc., all of its members and all officials of the Pajero Challenge 2017 from all claims in respect to injury, loss or damage however caused (including injury or loss or damage caused by any actions of the Club or any of its officers or members) and suffered by us as a result of or in any way arising out of our participation in the event.
- We acknowledge that it is our responsibility to constantly assess the conditions, the tasks and the capabilities of the driver and vehicle at all times, giving due regard to the safety of other vehicle occupants and the vehicle itself. It is the driver’s sole responsibility as to whether to proceed or take alternate actions.
