2015 Was Amazing!

Wow!! What a passionate group of club members we have!!

As Trip & Social Co-coordinator I’m exceptionally impressed with the dedication of those who lead trips to explore this great country of ours. You are bound to find a trip that suits, whether you just love the outdoors, touring, socializing, and most evidently… 4WDing!

Last year, we traveled to all corners of Australia, from Cape York QLD to North West Tasmania, from the Kimberley’s and Albany in WA to the the red center. Of course their was extensive local exploration of the Victoria High Country, the Sand Dunes of Portland, the Otways, the Big & Little Desert’s and everywhere in between.

An integral part of the club is giving back to the community through bush clean-ups, high country huts maintenance, track classification, seasonal track clearing, tree planting, Oxfam Christmas tree deliveries and rural response initiatives. These are other worthwhile and well participated journeys and experiences to be involved in.

Each trip new friendships are formed and as always, the willingness to share a wealth of knowledge in flora and fauna, geography, history, trip planning take place. Most importantly discussions around familiarising yourself with your own vehicle and how to drive your 4WD in various environments takes place.

I look forward to seeing you on a trip, or maybe even a track or two!
