DESCRIPTION/LOCATION:
I want to head away for the Easter long weekend and it's been a while since I've been to Fry's Hut. Bring easter bits n pieces if so inclined.
The official trip will start on the Friday morning as at this point I am unsure if I am heading up Thursday after work or Friday morning, so I am making this Friday to Monday trip (I might stay till Tuesday).
Meeting place will be at Fry's Hut - Will hopefully camp somewhere nearish the Hut and the drop toilets in that area. I will be there with my Gold Ford Ranger and Opus inflatable camper and will be on UHF Ch 15.
At this point I am not running any day trips, but if people want to do some day trips, then go for it, my aim is to relax and have a peaceful few days at camp.
Please bring some wood, a few bags each or equivalent as we are there for several nights and it's getting cold of an evening.
You need to be self sufficient for everything - there are drop toilets but that's about it.
To get to Fry's Hut you go to Sheepyard Flat, turn right and then follow the 4wd track - please look it up before you leave if you don't know where you are going as there is no phone service there.
This is a very informal and casual trip.
