Our Vision
The Pajero 4WD Club of Victoria is a vibrant family oriented club offering friendship, social and educational activities for 4WD and AWD owners and their families.
Our Purpose
With a proud history dating back to 1984, our purpose remains steadfast:
(1) Promote, represent, encourage and support the recreation and sport of 4WD/AWD touring.
(2) Promote safe and responsible operation of 4WD/AWD vehicles.
(3) Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and the involvement in activities associated with the ownership and operation of 4WD/AWD vehicles.
(4) Promote and represent the interests of owners and drivers of 4WD/AWD vehicles.
(5) Afford members such benefits and privileges as it may be possible to arrange.
(6) Pursue and conduct programs and projects which affect 4WD/AWD touring and the activities of the Club generally.
(7) Promote and foster good relations and cooperation within the Club and with other bodies sharing similar interests.
(8) Publicise and promote the Club in any manner it’s Committee may decide.
The Pajero 4WD Club is a financial member of Four Wheel Drive Victoria (FWDV) who represent Clubs at government and government departmental levels to promote our points of view.
Members organise Club trips, social events, partake in charitable causes and champion environmental care-taking in the Australian bush. Our Club promotes ‘Tread Lightly’ principles, and we are proud to be an active campaigner in the fight to both care for and to retain the right to explore this great country, not just for our Club, but for all !
We work closely with government bodies like DEWLP and Parks Vic. The Club participates in many community service activities by assisting in bush clean-ups, keeping fire trails clear, assisting communities in rural areas in times of need after fires & floods. We even help with tree plantings. The Club has always been an active participant in these types of activities and members are rightly proud of their efforts which combine recreational activities with environmental outcomes.
The Club produces a quality bi-monthly magazine, EXCEED (click HERE for access), and complements this with our website, both of which contain details of forthcoming trips, reports of previous trips and, of course, details of meetings and social events.
We also offer a Club shop which sells Pajero Club branded clothing and discounted 4x4 equipment.
Monthly meetings are held at the Glen Waverley Bowls Club, 690 Waverley Rd, Glen Waverley, 3rd Wednesday of the month, except January. 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start. Lite snacks and bar service is available. Our car park is patrolled by a security service.
Prospective members are invited to attend one of our monthly Club meetings as a visitor. Hopefully we’ll see you there in the future but, in the meantime, keep an eye on our web site at www.pajeroclub.com.au for a host of information including upcoming trips and events and current membership details and joining fees. Use the Join Us menu to become a member. Secure online payment facilities are provided.
